CastleMIND uses a comprehensive description of the die casting equipment: the machine is described not only for its size and closing unit but also for the injection unit to generate accurate results. Accelerations, decelerations, delays, wear and tear of the machines are considered and the user is provided with a custom database of his/her own machines which may differ from the standard configuration. CastleMIND verifies if the given machine is able to reach a pre-set parameter (i.e. pressure or speed) and automatically adapts the calculation to the actual behaviour of the real machine suggesting, if available, the best compromise.
